Victory Kid is a high-octane ska punk band born in Los Angeles, bringing together catchy melodies, upbeat ska, and songs that leave you feeling a little lighter than when they started.

Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Harrison Nida,

the band first broke onto the scene with the EPs Illenials and Thrillenials, before releasing their debut full-length Discernation in 2021; a genre-blending collection that introduced listeners to their mix of pop-punk, ska, reggae, and skate punk.

The band's latest album, Catalyst, marks its most ambitious chapter yet. Written during a period of personal upheaval and reinvention, the record explores themes of resilience, self-discovery, flawed relationships, and invites listeners to join them in moving forward through the things they find hard- all while delivering the biggest choruses and most dynamic songwriting of the band's career.

Victory Kid’s sound lands somewhere between the defiant hooks of Sum 41 and the skankable grooves of Sublime, laced with the brass-kissed chaos of Goldfinger. But while their influences are clear, Victory Kid forges their own path, pairing bounce-off-the-wall energy with lyrics that truly say something.

Lyrically, they tackle everything from political unrest and generational angst to self-growth and the absurdity of modern life. Tracks like “Clownin’” take bizarre cultural moments and twist them into raucous anthems, while their Star Wars-referencing band name nods to the fight against modern tyranny in a sense that is both political and personal.

From sweaty DIY clubs to festival stages across Europe, Victory Kid has shared the stage with bands including Zebrahead, Mad Caddies, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, and Bowling For Soup. Whether it's a singalong chorus, a breakdown paired with a trombone, or a song about picking yourself back up, Victory Kid proves that music should leave you feeling better than it found you.
