Victory Kid is a high-octane pop-punk band out of Los Angeles, known for injecting ska energy and political edge into a g. Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Harrison Nida, the band exploded onto the scene in 2018 with their debut EP Illenials, featuring the viral protest anthem “Tuck Frump.” Their follow-up, Thrillenials, kept the momentum going, blending raw punk ethos with bright melodies and biting social commentary.
Victory Kid’s sound lands somewhere between the rowdy hooks of Sum 41 and the skankable grooves of Sublime, laced with the sarcastic bite of Blink-182 and the brass-kissed chaos of Goldfinger. But while their influences are clear, Victory Kid forges their own path—pairing bounce-off-the-wall energy with lyrics that actually say something.
Lyrically, they tackle everything from political unrest and generational angst to self-growth and the absurdity of modern life. Tracks like “Clownin’” take bizarre cultural moments and twist them into punk anthems, while their Star Wars-referencing band name nods to the fight against modern tyranny—both political and personal.
From DIY venues to festival stages, Victory Kid brings a level of energy that’s both cathartic and contagious. With Harrison Nida at the helm, the band continues to push boundaries, proving that punk isn’t dead—it’s just been recharged with a SoCal sunburn and a mission.
Our sound is a blend of edgy punk-rock energy, catchy melodies, and lyrics that challenge the status quo.
